Kalyisah needs:
1. an 8 ball to help her make important decisions. Ehem. Cause she's an indecisive one.
2. the Juno DVD. Just because.
3. either Leggings/stokings
4. B&Js Phish Food/Strawberry Cheesecake/Cookie Dough to calm her nerves.
5. the ability to sew or a friend that is willing to teach.
6. to stop eating Peanut Butter sandwiches.
Hmm.
Today three adorable potted flowers appeared at my doorstep. And my dad had to be the one to bring it in when it was delivered. I hope he didn't read the card because that would be extremely humiliating. He said the flowers were ugly. And I'm not insulted because my mum says my dad's a total unromantic anyways and I know they aren't ugly. Hah.
Thank you dear. But I knew it was coming, you're a such lousy liar ;P

You're a part time lover and a full time friend
The monkey on you're back is the latest trend
I don't see what anyone can see, in anyone else
But you
I kiss you on the brain in the shadow of a train
I kiss you all starry eyed, my body's swinging from side to side
I don't see what anyone can see, in anyone else
But you
~Anyone Else But You // The Moldy Peaches
Everytime you leave my heart sinks. The time we have is so short, it's almost too cruel. I'm half sobbing and laughing as I say this, but I feel like Cinderella as the clock strikes midnight.
Sidenote: Juno was brilliant.

Clemens says I never ever mention him in my blog which is absolutely false. But okay fine, here you go. Clemens, clemens, clemens, clemens :P
I will be punished for my sarcasm I just know it.

Doesn't bitching, at some point, get tiring? My mum told me that back in the day when televisions were non-existent and radio reception was a far cry from perfect, people would gossip excessively. As in they actually thrived on it. She was giving me many anecdotes of which I'm not about to publicly share. That aside and to be completely honest, even with better technology, more avenues and new forms of literary expression, people still engage in idle talk if not as much, more so than ever.
I guess it's not so much the transition in time OR the lack of/abundance of alternative technology that attributes to this insatiable hunger for gossip but the constant factor that is, People. Cliche as it may sound (and even more cliche for me to use this phrase) , it could be simply, human nature to be consumed with others' follies and flaws rather than their own to make up for or possibly hide from their sad, uninteresting, pathetic existence.

In sooth I know not why I am so sad.
It wearies me, you say it wearies you.
But how I caught it, found it, or came by it,
I am to learn.

I miss going to the Botanic Gardens and I'm glad we went today. It's just too bad neither of us had a camera cause it was picture perfect there, the sky was clear blue except for a little drizzle towards the end. I love it. Being surrounded by nature never made me feel more calm.
My feet hurt though. Sorry dear, for making you walk just trying to find stupid Dempsey Road cause I was craving B&Js. Still I hope all that walking didn't make you hate the whole outing. Should have planned it better somehow. But isn't there something about unplanned dates that make it all the more exciting and thrilling. You'll never know what's coming next. I'm glad I went with you moomoo, cause I don't think anyone else would have put up with all that walking and heat and still smile and say that their having a great time. Haha.
Boy, oh how I love you :) And I'll miss you loads.
(PS: I love my little red ballet flats. Oh what the hell, I just LOVE shoes. Period.)

I was listening to 93.8 and I caught something that really amused me. "Words/phrases that ought to be banned in 2008" Like... Post-911 or adding a hub or i/e to every other word for instance i-pod, i-mode erm I don't know, i-massage chair or something. And yea, the word hub. Ohmygod, what an overused, overrated word seriously. Singapore practically wants to be a hub for everything, from education to water desalination and recycling technology. Quit hubbing!!
Finally moved out of the West. I know I'll miss it but a new year calls for a fresh start SO I'm pretty excited about this new place. Moving is a lot of work even with a mover. I can't wait until everything's settled so I can take a breather, get to know my neighbourhood a little more, oh yes and actually get down to securing a job.
