I've been in a sluggish mode since the weekends started and that was approximately 8 hours ago. It's making me feel really guilty but I'm not doing anything to rectify it. Anyway back to being the slug I was, watching YouTube videos after YouTube videos, when I came across this video, titled: "Funny car commercial". Well naturally I thought that it was going to be funny like the title promised. (Kaly, you poor, naive child) But guess what?? It turned out to be some freaky video where everything's alright at the beginning then things start to get boring and you're waiting for something to happen to a point where you're so tempted to close the window and suddenly some seriously demented figure pops up on your screen. For some who actually know me, would know how little a fan I am of horror. So I screamed, shut my laptop cause the figure couldn't stop wailing, ran out and hugged my brother (which, can I just say, is something I do NOT do unless I want to irritate the crap out of him).
That basically put me off YouTube videos for the rest of the afternoon. Just when I thought my encounters with the WorldWideWeb couldn't get worse, MSN decided to fail me. Yet again. I tried to log in but this kept appearing on my screen...
And that really ticked my off. I was cursing the computer for being such a bitch to me lately, when I realized that I was typing this the whole time...
Okay you guys can laugh at my stupidity all you want. I can take it.
Oh!, but the funny (ok maybe not funny, but weirdest) bit was I used to get terribly annoyed at my Chinese teachers, who couldn't seem to ever get my name right and pronounced it as "Kalysiah", so much so that whenever they checked the class attendance and go down the list of names, I'd shout mine out loud before they do. If I'm lucky, they get it right after that. Usually, they'll just go: "Right. And that would be Kaly...siah?" -_-
Yeah, and here I am getting my own name wrong. Serves me right for being a stuck-up-know-it-all.
Right.
It's getting awkward describing my embarrassing moments. I shall go now.
Oh yeah, before I go, a huge SORRY goes out to the J1s who organized the farewell gathering that I did not go for. To those who went, hope you guys had a blast! (I'm so jealous. Here I am, stuck at home.)
